A9 Locks Up

This has happened twice so I was able to replicate it.

 

I did some highlighting and then I added a personal note in one of my note files, then updated. I went to highlight again, the note file box went away (as it should) and when I tried to highlight a portion of text (ESV) which was already highlighted (Yellow but I wanted to underline a word) I noticed that when I tried to highlight an already highlighted word that the word did not highlight as I dragged the curser over the word and when I attempted to drag the curser again to highlight the word I got the beloved pizza wheel. Had to do a force quit.

I'm having trouble reproducing this.

 

I highlight something, edit a user note, and then try to highlight it again with a different style, yet it doesn't hang. Can you give me some more details as to what you are doing to cause the hang?

Joel, thanks for the reply. This just happened again. I had been doing some highlighting (Proverbs 8) and then I wanted to add a personal note. I used the command U to bring up the notes box and selected the proper note file. I entered my note and updated and exited. Then I tried to highlight the text with the curser in order to assign a highlight color and I got the "pizza" wheel. Had to do a force quit! I hope I am setting the stage correctly for you to get the picture. This is now the third time this has happened. Thanks for your repeated review of this problem ("bug"?)

Joel, this has happened again today (9/21) after the 9.0.2 update!

Although I am very aware of the fact that you guys are swamped, this issue of Accordance 9 locking up still occurs even after the 9.0.2 update! It does not do it every time but it does do it frequently. The problem always occurs after making a personal note. This is NOT a crisis by any stretch of the imagination but it is something I felt you should know about. While it is aggravating for me, i simply reboot and move on. apparently no one else has experienced it but it has happened five times since the pre-release.
