flips Posted March 11, 2010 Share Posted March 11, 2010 Hi! When reading my paper versions of HCSB, NKJV and others, I have these titles (e.g. "Parable of the Lost Sheep") in the text. But when I read the same bible text in Accordance, I don't see these titles. I can see why having these titles inline in the electronic text can make indexing and search more complicated. Where the heading are supplied to us in the etext, we try to extract them and include them in the Notes file that comes with most translations. Unfortunately, I don't see many of them in a quick scan through all the Notes files. We should have a major update to the HCSB very soon, and an optional upgrade to HCSBS with Strong's numbers, and I know the Notes have significant improvements. Yes, I was looking for those headers (browsed through Luke 8 and 9 and checked the notes to HCSB, NKJV, ESV, NASB95, NLT-SE), but didn't see any ... If the major update contains the new 2009 HCSB text, I'm hoping it will have a different file name for comparison with the old edition. (By changes I mean f.ex. the brackets disappearing, "tounges" being changed to "languages" and so on ...)
