"Invisible" Footnote Superscripts in NRSVS?

This may be just my ignorance as a new Accordance user, but I can't find a way of displaying the footnote superscripts in the text of the NRSVS. Or, are there none to display? (I know how to see the content of the footnotes in NRSVS Notes.)

I don't have "Hide superscripts" checked. And the footnote superscripts in TNIV are appearing just fine.

I'm using Accordance 8.4.3 on an iMac Intel, OS X 10.6.2. I have also downloaded and installed the NRSVS upgrade to version 2.1

Already, I'm really appreciating Accordance for biblical study and comparison. This little footnote superscript item, though, has me baffled.

Can anyone solve this mystery?

I do not think that the NRSV or NRSVS texts have any footnote markers. That's probably how we received the text way back when.

I just checked against my copy of the NOAB/NRSV and it does use alpha superscript markers in the text, but it does not repeat the text in question in the footnote. As Helen indicated, it just looks like they have changed their system at some point since we released our text(s). At least we still have the text in question italicized in the notes as a point of reference. I noticed this same method in Holmes' Apostolic Fathers (AF-E/Notes); it keeps the text clean.

Thanks, Helen, for your speedy reply.

I had expected to find the footnote superscript letters since they are used in all the printed texts (books) of the NRSV I have.

However, if they're not in the digitized version, I guess I can stop looking for them!!

Thanks again.

Thanks, Rick. As you can see from my response to Helen, I had expected to find superscript markers because all the NRSV printed texts I have use them. At least I don't have to wonder whether there's something malfunctioning in my set up of Accordance. Thanks again.
