Martin Shields
OK, I admit not having spent too much time doing syntax searches thus far, but I would like to know how I can search for clauses with no finite verb (in the BHS-W4 syntax module, that is). Robert Holmstedt
OK, I admit not having spent too much time doing syntax searches thus far, but I would like to know how I can search for clauses with no finite verb (in the BHS-W4 syntax module, that is). Martin, Bear with us till after the weekend on this. You will be able to find all verbless clauses (and even things like ellipsis), but we used "null" items to tag these and this and antecedent syntax are the last two features not quite fully enabled in the Accordance. Once we enable them, I'll post how to do the search here -- and it will be a very simple search. Robert
