Douglas Fyfe
one of the students in our seminar who's just upgraded to Accordance 10 has a copy-paste issue: when pasting into Nisus Writer Pro, quotation marks appear in the wrong place as does an errant full stop. instead of the quotation marks appearing at the beginning of the line, they appear at the end. and a full stop appears at the beginning of the second line of each verse pasted. this wasn't an issue in Accordance 9, and is not repeated in TextEdit or Word. (sorry I can't show it as it's not on my computer)
Helen Brown
I assume he is exporting as Unicode. Is this happening with Copy as Citation? What about a simple Copy? Can he paste into TextEdit, then copy from there and paste into Nisus?
Ken Simpson
Hi Helen, it was not unicode export and it happened on both normal copy and copy as citation. When we turned unicode on all was fixed. However the bug was there in standard copy and paste. If we don't want people to use it, we should not allow the option to turn it on. Yes he can paste into TE (and word for that matter) and then into NWP. He's happy with the result, but is a bug that might be worth looking at sometime. Clearly not a priority though.
