Kit
dear all, just came across of this site yesterday. very cool and beautiful interface of a bible software. http://www.bibleglo.com/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IG0EQ-SiWKI Though it is beautiful, i don't think it is for scholar. It would be a great bonus as a multimedia and presentation tool. Take a look and comment on it.
mikes
One thing I was thinking, it would be cool on the Accordance timeline to have a link which would show the map at that present time with it's borders and political entities. In other words, show me what the political and geographical landscape looked like at the time of Luke writing his book, etc. Of course this can be done manually, but the ease of being able to apply layers in context of something in the timeline would be awesome. Excellent idea! I would extend it a bit further in line with the recent IBS podcasts. What about providing a way to create a link to a point in time on the timeline and point on the map in user notes and user tools? This would give very visual answers to the "Where" and "When" IBS questions. (I do the "Where" today using google maps).

I find it interesting that the computers that you see using it are Macbook Pros, yet it isn't available in for OSX til next year.
Dewayne Davis
I noticed that too. Sometimes advertisements use MBPs because they look cooler, but they really aren't running the software or it is a mock up. Of course it could be fusion in full screen mode...and they do look cooler, but that isn't why I have one. It's because they are cooler
