Anthony Sepulveda
[Acc 10.4.2.2, W 8.1, HP Pavilion g6-2306el ] Hello, I don't know what's going on, but when I close Accordance while connected to an Internet connection with a password authenticated proxy, the program takes more than 40 seconds to close. When the network cable is disconnected, the program closes quickly (as usual). --anthony
Ryan Mudge
Hi Anthony, We haven't heard of anyone else having this same issue. Do your other applications experience the same issue or only Accordance? Ryan
Anthony Sepulveda
Hi Ryan, As far as I can tell, the other programs were behaving normally. I'll try and check the next time I'm back in the university library; maybe the 'panacea' of restarting the computer could fix this. Thanks, --anthony
Scott M
Also, if you could check your C:\ProgramData\Accordance\Logs to see if you are generating any exception / error reports. If so, we can see about getting those emailed to me.
Anthony Sepulveda
Hi Scott, I checked the Log for that day, and the only error message was this one, at the end of the file: ErrorReporting, InternetConnect -- dwError :: 12007 OS:6.2 Windows 8 or Server 2012 Memory load (MB): 34% Physical: 8084 Avail: 5307 Free disk user (MB): 353505 All free: 353505 Accordance Version 10.4.2.2 I hope this helps. Scott M
Thanks. The Windows error itself isn't too helpful: "Cannot enumerate a noncontainer." at least for me. I'll look into it further, but that error was on an attempt to FTP a crashreport. So I'll need to consult with some folk on where to go from here. Anthony Sepulveda
Hi Scott, Ok. But I think the FTP might have something to do with it. With the internet connection in the library, I don't think FTP is allowed. For Accordance, at least: from the program, the "check program update" works, since it just checks an XML file for a new program installer, and uses a download via direct link. But problems begin to surface with Easy Install or Content Update, where the only thing it could do is to validate my user login information, but could not check for new modules nor download them.
