Bill Lueg
Accordance is updated VERY frequently and I find it bothersome that the installer always gets downloaded to the Desktop. Ever since Leopard came out almost 5 years ago, we have had a dedicated Downloads folder and it sits in our docks by default. It even bounces when something new is deposited there. Can you please drop the installer in there upon download? I like to keep a clean desktop anyway. That and I don't have to move my windows around to find it. Thank you. Kind regards, Bill Lueg
R. Mansfield
It doesn't bother me that the installer lands on the desktop (a simple expand swipe with my fingers and thumb on the trackpad get me there). However, I do believe Bill has a good point here. The download folder seemed to be kind of an optional thing in the early days of OS X, but it's mainstream now--especially with a folder placed in the finder sidebar and a shortcut on the dock. As Bill notes, that folder in the dock bounces when a download is complete. It would seem to make sense that at least in the next big update to Accordance, consideration should be given to having all files download to the user's download folder (like most other Mac programs do) instead of the desktop. R Gustason
Concur... put it in downloads... or better yet, update it without an installer like other programs do.
