Syntax slightly broken

The syntax searching for "both directions" is broken. Please see here:

When a search is done for a verb without a complement, it only works with the "search both directions" box is unchecked (this correctly excludes any complements *following* the verb, but, of course, this misses all the comps that precede the verb). When "both directions" is checked, the search is totally broken in that all complements are hit, when the search wanted *no* complements.
