Steve Raine
Hi-- How do you set NIV-G/K and NAS95S texts so that triple-clicking a word brings up the tool of your choice? I have Anchor set as top English tool, but both of these Bibles are G/K or S#-keyed: triple-clicking on "Ezekiel" (in NIV) brings up NIV-Hebrew. I know the option is here somewhere, but haven't found it. Thx, Steve
Helen Brown
The Key number texts are hard-wired to open their own dictionaries, so you cannot, in fact, change this anywhere. However, you can always use the right-click menu or the Resource palette to search for your selection in another dictionary.
Charles Stock
A while back, I changed my KJVS so that when I triple click it, Thayer's, rather than Strongs comes up as the default response to the triple click. However, I can't remember how I did it. This may be a clue for Steve getting the response he would like from the triple click action. It only is in the KJVS. The NIV-G/K, NAS95S and ESVS all do the normal default action.
Greg Terry
Not sure if this helps, but . . . I discovered that if you hold down the shift key while triple clicking in the KJVS that it will do a search in the KJ Dictionary. However, neither the NRSVS, ESVS NA95S do anyhting, but the NIV G/K opens the NIV Place Names. BTW, I was using the word Moses in my attempts to search. Is there a way to change which resource is opened in the KJVS and NIV G/K??
