widget problem

I tried to open my Accordance Widget just a little bit ago and it said the connection was wrong. Since I tried to do that, my computer has been giving me that spinning rainbow wheel of death for most of what I try to do. Here's the deal, though. I had Accordance 8. I just installed Accordance 9 the other day. I hadn't used the Widget since before I installed the new version. Would the Widget be from the old version and that messed things up? How do I undo the mess and is there a Widget with the new one? Thanks!

The widget and Accordance's interface to it are problematic in 9.0.2, but have been fixed for the upcoming 9.0.3.

Thank you. When will that upgrade be coming out?

How do I undo the mess...

From what I can tell, using the Accordance widget with Accordance 9.0.1 or 9.0.2 really messes up your Dashboard. It (the dashboard process) grabs all your computer's free memory. This slows your computer to a crawl. Even if you force quit the dashboard process using Activity Monitor- it will start again on it's own in a minute or two, and grab all the free memory again.

Restarting will fix it - until you use Dashboard again.

If you want to use Dashboard - other widgets - and not have this problem- open Dashboard, close the Accordance widget- (hold the option key down and choose the "x" on the Accordance widget) - then restart your computer and your other widgets will work fine.

Thank you! I have figured out not to use the Dashboard for now. Now I'll just wait for the fix. I only want it for the Accordance Widget anyway.
