Tony Lawrence
This morning I made a couple purchases (Fee's N.T. Exegesis and the NIV Phrase Tag upgrade). After installing I immediately went to reorganize my Library and decided to insert a divider. I clicked the gear to check the key equivalence for "add divider" and saw it was Command-Shift-D. When I invoked it, it duplicated my workspace. So I thought, perhaps I forgot to click on an item where I wanted to insert the divider and then clicked Command-Shift-D and it again duplicated my workspace. So I checked and the menu had this same key equivalence for Duplicate in the File menu. The contextual menu works fine so perhaps it would be best to either remove the key equivalence or change it to something else.
Helen Brown
The key command works correctly after you select something in the Library. That also tells Accordance where you want the divider to go.
Tony Lawrence
The key command works correctly after you select something in the Library. That also tells Accordance where you want the divider to go. That is not the way it is working with mine. 11.0.3. When I select something in the Library and press Command-Shift-D, it duplicates my workspace, not insert a divider. That's the reason I reported it as a bug. Lorinda H. M. Hoover
Tony, it works for me as Helen has specified. I'm using 11.0.3 on Yosemite. I note, however, that Command-Shift-D is not listed as a keyboard shortcut for Duplicate in my version of Accordance. Is there any possibility that you set that in Apple's System Preferences??? Tony Lawrence
Thanks Lorinda, on my 11.0.3 on Yosemite does have Command-Shift-D listed in the File menu next to Duplicate. I checked with a friend and his version of 11.0.3 does not have it listed next to Duplicate. I even downloaded a clean copy and reinstalled and it is still there. I'm puzzled. Abram K-J
The keyboard shortcuts you set on a Mac do, indeed, show up in the File menus of the specified applications. I'm not sure downloading a clean copy would make a difference on keyboard shortcuts, but I could be wrong.
Tony Lawrence
Thanks for the suggestion Abram but I haven't set any short-cuts myself. I checked the System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts just to make sure. That's why this puzzles me. I can live without worrying about this as I usually use the contextual menu shortcut. On a curious note, the Command-Shift-A does alphabetize correctly. Abram K-J
Sounds like you've got the golden ticket edition of Accordance!
