Exit code 217 while doing construct syntax searches

Hi ya,

This is Mac 10.3.3.

I'll be doing various constructs and moving construct pieces around and then I'll move something and hit return for the next search and Acc just exits. I don't see a crash log but the console System log reports this :

1/9/14 7:22:37.654 PM com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[201]: (com.OakTree.Accordance.24496[43217]) Exited with code: 217
1/9/14 7:26:47.274 PM com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[201]: (com.OakTree.Accordance.24496[43224]) Exited with code: 217

Scrolling back I notice a lot of these in the log :

1/9/14 7:13:09.576 PM acord[40177]: clip: empty path.
1/9/14 7:13:14.765 PM acord[40177]: clip: empty path.
1/9/14 7:13:15.564 PM acord[40177]: clip: empty path.
1/9/14 7:13:16.343 PM acord[40177]: clip: empty path.
1/9/14 7:13:18.602 PM acord[40177]: clip: empty path.
1/9/14 7:13:20.584 PM acord[40177]: clip: empty path.
1/9/14 7:13:47.498 PM acord[40177]: clip: empty path.

I believe these are unrelated as I have had the crash multiple times without seeing these messages. I'll leave them struck through in case there is some use in having them here.

I have not yet worked out a pattern but will update that this post if I work one out.

This is quite frequent occurring every few queries - that may just indicate that the type of queries I'm attempting are triggering the issue.

Possible test case :

Open a new workspace

Bring up GNT28-T with syntax in parallel

Open a Greek construct

Add a CLAUSE (any type) to the construct and run it

If this succeeds add a Subject Phrase under it and run that

If that succeeds add a Subject under that and run that.

One of these should fail but it may take several goes.

thx

D
