Atlas text tool : cannot set bgcolor, only left corner points of selection appear

Hi ya,

 

Mac 10.4.1 on OSX 10.9.2

 

I was trying to add a piece of text to a user layer.

That worked ok but I cannot alter the background of the text.

When I select the text I see only the left hand corner points. And changing the fill colour changes the colour of the line between them. But it does not change the full background colour. Its almost like the left and right hand border points are right over the top of each other. See the image below :

 

 

On Windows this all works as expected.
