JonathanHuber
I have a workspace in which the text is the middle pane, sandwiched between the syntax and a tool (see screenshot). The GNT used to be on the far left, but I just moved it to the center and thus noticed a bug. If I select a word from the GNT and use the amplify button or the contextual menu to search for that word in the GNT, the app crashes. This does not happen if the GNT is on the far left, or if the far left pane is any other tool or text. While exploring this bug, I created a new tab shown in the following screenshot. In this case, selecting "God" in the ESVS and doing the same amplify search actually searched the Outlines module instead of the ESVS. The app is apparently searching in whatever is in the far left pane even though it was specifically told which module to search. This suggests that the original crash is due to a failed attempt to search the syntax tool.
Ryan Mudge
Hi Jonathan, I reproduced the first issue and did not have any problem amplifying. The only difference is I didn't have all the tabs open that you did. Just out of curiosity, did you try creating a new workspace exactly like this one to see what happened? I did get the same issue when I tried to amplify 'God' in the ESVS. It did search the Outlines module instead of the ESVS. Ryan
JonathanHuber
It's because you still have the ESVS as the search text. Change the search text to match the text pane (GNT or GNT28), and then you should see the crash. And yes, I still get the crash with a new workspace. Ryan Mudge
I see what you mean. Thanks for pointing that out. Ryan Edited May 8, 2014 by Ryan Mudge
