Abram K-J
After a recent module update to HCSB Study Bible, I'm showing this message when I try to open a four-workspace session that included the HCSB Study Bible in it. And now only one of the workspaces opens, presumably the only one that didn't have HCSB. Not only that, but when the error message tries to get me to find it, it navigates me to Documents/Accordance Files, which is not where Tools and Texts are kept anyway. So I go to the right place, then get this message: I know this has been discussed repeatedly on the forums--hopefully that discussion can become moot as a fix is introduced. (I thought it had been already, but maybe I'm wrong about that.) Is there any way to resolve this on my own, and recover my workspaces that had the study notes from the HCSB Bible, other than using Time Machine, etc.? This issue (Accordance not finding an installed module) combined with the lost workspace issue (mentioned here) are starting to get frustrating, I must confess. Rick Bennett
Try deleting the module from your library and reinstall with easy install.
Julie Palmer
Abram - There was an issue yesterday of the file not fully transferring between servers when the update was released. If you peformed the update prior to about 6pm yesterday, you may have downloaded an incomplete module file. The module file should be over 150MB. If that is not the case, I would suggest removing the file and re-downloading it through Easy Install. Julie
Abram K-J
Thanks, Rick and Julie. Julie, that helps explain it--I've had the issue before (and have done before what Rick suggested), but it was always due to some kind of I/O or slow Internet connection on my end. This time I had fast(er), uninterrupted Internet, so was unclear as to why the update went awry. Rick, that fixed it. I'd still (with others) love a fix that covers instances like this without having to do the manual work of removing/re-installing, and especially the bit about losing workspaces... in the meantime, I'm glad to have everything back in place.
