Rod Decker
George's question (in other forum) sparked an idea that would be very helpful if there's a way to do it. (If there isn't, I'd suggest this go in the "feature addition hopper.") Is it possible to do a search that contains, say, 2 variables, and have Accord. hi-light each of the variables distinctly? E.g., a search that includes (present, aorist) and have the presents in, say, red, and the aorists in green. I've been doing some things like this manually with a set of tense highlights, but that takes a lot of time. Studying tense/aspect flow in a passage could be enhanced by this sort of auto-highlighting. Even if this were a multi-step process and handled like the Details window in which a graph can be retained and a new set of data graphed on top of the previous one, that would be very usable. Make the number of variables user-defined, and allow text formating changes to be attached to a variable: color, bold, italic, larger font size, etc. In general, any increase in flexibility is a Good Thing. I've always been amazed at what people will do when given the freedom to adjust a UI to their preferences. They'll come up with uses that the programmer/UI designer never thought of....
