The OT Peshitta institute in Leiden have promised to release the text to us when they are ready to do so. It is taking quite a while, but so do many other worthwhile projects.

On the anniversary of my original post, I thought I would check in on this one.

Also, where is the Analytical Lexicon of the Syriac New Testament : Based on the SEDRA 3 Database of George Anton Kiraz?

My only option at the moment seems to be to download from L and run under Windows. :(

I too have been looking forward to the Peshitta of the OT. In the mean time I have been typing in the Peshitta into a user note from the print edition as I do translation/exegesis. While that contributes some to my facility with the language, I would prefer to save the time and have a complete module.

Any new news from Leiden?

No, they have promised to complete it within months so many times over the past years that we don't even bug them anymore. We are not the only ones who are waiting for them.

That really stinks.

I presume that it is also not possible to get the text from CAL (Comprehensive Aramaic Lexicon)?
