Gedalya
Can someone please explain the differences and similarities between Bible Lands Photo Guide 3 and Bible Times Photo Museum?
Timothy Jenney
Happy to, Gordon! The PhotoGuide is an illustrated encyclopedia of places in the Bible. Each article provides an overview of the site, Scripture references, and (generally) some very nice photos. These modern photos are of the location and any extant ruins. Like the Accordance Atlas, the PhotoGuide is integrated into Accordance 11's Info Pane. The PhotoMuseum is is an illustrated encyclopedia of objects used in biblical times. the include armor and weapons, pottery and cookware, grooming tools and agricultural implements. Each article provides a an overview, Scripture references, and photos. The modern photos were taken at various museums, the reason for the name of this resource. I recommend both—and look forward to the day we can offer something equally comprehensive for the Bible's flora and fauna. That one got the flora part covered, at least. Edited December 16, 2014 by Pchris
