They have just updated to 2.9 and have a special offer with amazing prices. Even if you think you are happy wioth your current wordprocessor, it's worth checking them out. I only use Mellel for "day-to-day" work, but I really enjoy the fact that it avoids the "self correcting" stuff provided by its competitors. Its footnotes feature is really fantastic, and I can see your point that Mellel exceeds the competition in terms of right-to-left textual issues.
