Enoch
Here is a short copy & paste from Prov 8:1 ESVS Does not wisdom call? This is just one example of a common bug: When one copies & pastes scripture, seemingly-random extra spaces are inserted between words.
Lorinda H. M. Hoover
I think it's because of the superscript "l" right before "wisdom". Are you copying as citation? Do you have supercripts hidden, either in display or the citation preferences? I've seen this bug/issue mentioned before, although I couldn't find it when I went searching for it today. T. Conrad
I'm noticing a related issue wherein my copied text has areas where there will not be spaces where they ought to be. Ex. “Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”But Peter said to him, “Explain the parable to us.” And he said, “Are you also still without understanding?Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled? But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone.”” (Matthew 15:14–20 ESV) This is after a copy-as citation.
Enoch
I'm noticing a related issue wherein my copied text has areas where there will not be spaces where they ought to be. So what we should do is mix out two programs so you have the spaces you want and I don't have the spaces I don't want! It would be like the Star Trec movie where man & machine joined. Thanks for the responses, Linda & T Conrad. Edited November 21, 2014 by Enoch
