hebrew search with commands

Perhaps I'm doing something incorrectly, but I have great difficulty entering search parameters in iOS (in my experience the Mac version of Accordance also has significant problems when mixing Hebrew with commands). For example, I try and enter:

 

אשה <AND> <RANGE Job>

 

What I get on iOS when I try and enter this is:

 

[AND> [RANGE Gen> אשה

 

This actually works, returning search results for Genesis. However, if I then try and place the cursor at the end of "Gen" and delete it, the ">" on the right disappears instead of the "n" so I find it virtually impossible to enter "Job" in place of Genesis.

 

Is there a better way I should be doing this?

I find that it works better using the Hebrew Keyboard and entering the commands from the menu, but yes, it is messy.
