I required it (or at least three volumes of it) of students in my New Testament Introduction class at Regent. I wanted them to have access to the various articles on books and subjects in the NT, but the bundle also includes a Bible background commentary for each testament, a single-volume Bible dictionary, a a single-volume whole Bible commentary, a Bible atlas, and a host of other resources. I am a layperson like you and I always go to these books as first call. Currently saving so can pick the accordance module up with them all in. Abram K-J Posted June 11, 2014 Share Posted June 11, 2014 If anyone is sitting on the fence about this collection, I am pretty sure $99 is as low as it's ever been in Accordance (at least since I started using Accordance in 2012). There's so much here, and I use something from this collection almost every week for preaching and teaching. Accordance has set up the modules so they're easy to navigate and search through. And some of them are in different categories, so I need to switch from library. Nonetheless, they worth each single dollar in my view, and each single second spent in using them. The truth is that I work far from home, and I spend family time when I go back home, so I prefer to use Accordance on my iPad all the time, in fact I love when my train to the office has delays, because I have enough time to complete my daily study on it. I have great big hope that the iOS app will get even better with time. Well it looks like a scan issue that was missed. I , obviously don't own it so cannot check if this is current, but perhaps someone who does could check if the "pie fists" of Modein are still in the text of the module.
