Mark Nigro
Today I was presenting for a class and the projector caused my resolution to reduce, which resized all my applications to smaller windows, including Accordance. In Yosemite (I think this feature is new to OS X 10.10, but I'm not certain) you can double click the top of the window bar on an application and it will expand the window to fill the screen, but I don't mean fullscreen mode where the dock disappears etc., just the normal 'fully expanded window' mode. Currently, the only way to resize Accordance after the resolution reduces it (such as the projector caused today, and which will keep happening for the next two weeks until I finish teaching this class), is to manually drag the window resize corner at the bottom right or to click the green "fullscreen" icon which is great, but not always what I want to use. I think it would be useful to have the ability to double click on the top of the window pane to expand Accordance to its full size. David Voth
I hadn't noticed that double-click effect. It seems only some applications expand: Safari does, but iTunes doesn't. I think it is just what the maximize button did before Yosemite changed the button to go to full-screen mode in applications. You can still use the maximize button to expand by using option-click on the maximize button (green light).
JonathanHuber
What does option+clicking do? I don't have yosemite installed yet but thought opt+click replaced the old maximize function of the green button (that now controls full screen.) Edit: David beat me to it. Mark Nigro
David, you're right. That's a great little feature I didn't know about in Yosemite, and that eliminates the need for Accordance to have the option. Thanks for the tip!
