David Wheeler
It is possible to limit a selection on a hebrew word to perform a lemma search. Currently the suffix and/or prefix is included in the search. -David
Paul Daunno
If you press and hold on a word in the Hebrew Bible (HMT-W4 in my case) it will display a popup box. If you choose 'Search' you can then select 'Lemma'. Is this what you are trying to do?
David Wheeler
Paul, Yes, however, when there is a suffix and/or prefix and/or conjunction, I cannot strip them off... AFAIK. I.e. Isa. 66.5 בְשִׂמְחַתְכֶ֖ם
Ken Simpson
Hi David, not that I know of directly, though you can edit the automatically performed search [sUFFIX] =בְּ= שִׂמְחָה by tapping the search icon in the upper right hand corner (magnifying glass) after you have done the lemma search from the ID popup. It's always a little tricky using the backspace/delete in Hebrew but it is reasonably simply doable. Let us know how you go.
David Wheeler
Thanks, Ken. That works. I was trying to edit from the small search icon that appears after the initial search. I never thought I could edit after it went away to the next screen. It wasn't intuitive to me, but it works. -David
