Ben
Anyone seen any Greek and Hebrew options for the iPhone yet? Olivetree are trying to get theirs together I think, but it hasn't happened yet.
R. Mansfield
Anyone seen any Greek and Hebrew options for the iPhone yet? Olivetree are trying to get theirs together I think, but it hasn't happened yet. They're working on it. I've got the beta for their next release, but original languages haven't been implemented yet. But it's definitely in development internally. They don't require an NDA so it's okay for me to talk about it.
Ben
The iPhone seems to support Unicode, which should make their job easier.
jpkang
The iPhone seems to support Unicode, which should make their job easier. I can confirm that iPhone 1.x firmware did not contain Hebrew (nor Arabic) glyphs, but under the iPhone 2.x firmware, MobileSafari appears to correctly display both Unicode Greek and (unpointed) Hebrew, but not Arabic (for which contextual forms are not rendered).
