MartinClay
Is accordance good for me updating my iPad to iOS 6?
R. Mansfield
In the update a year or so ago to iOS 5, all my Accordance titles disappeared and I had to download them again. That was not the case this time. From what I can tell, I have retained all my texts after updating to iOS 6. Of course your experience may be different, so don't throw rocks at me if your stuff disappears ;-) At the very least, if you have any notes only on the iOS device, you should consider syncing with the desktop version of Accordance before updating. MartinClay
Thanks Rick Unfortunately I do not have the luxury of a Mac, so I only have my user notes on my iPad - presumably nothing that I can sync to...
Michael J. Bolesta
Like Rick, no troubles with iOS 6 noted; await Accordance 1.5.
R. Mansfield
Martin, if you don't have a whole lot of personal notes, you could always consider copying and pasting them into a word processor or text editor you have in iOS as a backup. I realize this would become tedious if you have a lot of notes. Obviously, this will become a non-issue for folks such as yourself when the Windows version of Accordance is released next year, although I also realize that doesn't help you a lot now. I've not heard of anyone losing files yet, so the odds are probably in your favor, but obviously, there's potentially some risk with any update. Let us know how it goes. Scott Knapp
Only in the case of a system restore does iAccord lose the installed purchased module content. The update to iOS 6 no longer forces this type of system wipe and restore, particularly if you use the OTA (over the air) update option. And in either case (OTA or system restore) your user content (user notes, highlights, user tools) should not be lost. With regards to iOS 6, there is one known bug in v1.5.2 that causes a crash. This has been fixed in v1.5.3 which should be released very soon (hopefully). Scott.
