Constraining a search 'on the fly'

This is probably a no-brainer (as most of my questions are) but is there a way to constrain a word search to a range of verses/chapters/etc... other than defining a new range?

It used not to be possible, but there is now a [RANGE] command which lets you define the range inside it, exactly for this purpose.

 

Note that the Graphs and the [COUNT] command still use the range in the pop-up menu, so in these two instances your results may vary, otherwise they are the same.
