Tim Hall
My church recently purchased a new PC. How do I transfer my preferences from my Mac to the PC?
Helen Brown
Well, first you should be sure that this PC is licensed to use Accordance, depending on who it belongs to, and how many copies of Accordance you have pucrhased and are using. In the Mac the Accordance Preferences are in the invisible user/Library/Preferences. You can copy the folder over to the PC, but you should add a .acc1 extension to each file. This replaces: C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Accordance\Accordance Preferences on Vista and above, and C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Accordance\Accordance Preferences on Wndows XP. I would make a copy of the current preferences before replacing it, in case it does not work.
Tim Hall
Helen, Can use one my license for it? I know Accordance can be used on up to 5 devices ... could my church's new computer count as one of them?
Helen Brown
Only if it belongs to you and is only used by you. Any device that is used by more than one person needs a separate license.
