Copy-Paste text to preserve formatting in User Notes

My sermon prep workflow in Accordance (described here) ends with my copying my sermon text from Google Drive (from which I print it to deliver in final form each Sunday) into a sermon manuscripts User Tool I have.

 

I'd like very much to have any italics and bold from the Google Doc be preserved when I paste into the User Tool. As it stands now, even Paste (as opposed to Paste and Match Style) does not preserve that little bit of formatting.

 

I understand there is a multi-step solution, but could a future User Tools update include ability to preserve simple text formatting? (I.e., not when imported, but just when copy-pasted.)
