Julie Palmer
I am getting a consistent crash on the Installation of Content updates. Download goes fine; consistent crash trying to install the new downloads. Not sure if the "Access violation" message within the below Crash Log implies there is some permission issue, but I have made no other changes to my system. Harold Hosch
I'm not sure my comment was posted so I will add again. I tried to download and install the Content upgrades, and Accordance crashed.
Julia Falling
Same here on my MBAir. Works as expected without crash on the Mac mini. Hmm. There must be some sort of download cache that can be cleared?
Julie Palmer
I have re-uploaded the latest update files and re-synced the servers. I removed the downloaded modules from the "failed" Content Update from the temporary folder Library/Caches/TemporaryItems/AccordanceDownloads (I think these are in the same location on a Windows machine). A new Check for Content Update redownloaded the updates and seemed to work just fine.
Julia Falling
I just rebooted and did the updates without a hitch.
Julie Palmer
Julie--Did you do anything other than re-boot?
Julia Falling
I quit Accordance first, Julie, then rebooted. You know, there aren't many women on this forum. Odd that there are two Julies. And the name isn't even all that common, at least not where I live.
Julie Palmer
You know, I don't really think about the name Julie being rare until I try to think of other Julies I've met. There have been very few. Nice to "meet" you
Julia Falling
Yeah. Nice to meet you. Legally, my name is Julia, and some call me by that name, or Miss Julia — after all, we live in the South (& after the eccentric lady in the books). My brother married a Julie, but that is really her given name. Hardly ever see them (sad), so there's little confusion.

R Gustason
Hi Frank, To find the path on the mac, go to finder, hold down the option key and click go in Finder's menu. While holding down the option key, you should now see the Library. Then just follow the path listed above: Caches/TemporaryItems/AccordanceDownloads
fmcfee
Ryan, I have been going to the library...then caches...but no Temporaryitems folder..and thus no AccordanceDownloads folder I just retried the updates and it worked.....I have no idea why....so thanks again for your reply Frank Edited November 11, 2014 by fmcfee
Julia Falling
Frank – Rebooting alone solved my problem.
davidmsmiley
Hello, I literally just bought Accordance this weekend, and it installed 10, which worked like a charm. Then I installed 11, and it crashed immediately. It worked for an hour or so last night, but now it's not working this morning. So frustrating! Helen Brown
David: without more information nobody can help you. It's probably best to talk to tech support. It's hard to get through at present as everyone is updating at once, and our resources are limited, but if you leave a message or send an email they will get back to you.
