It would be very helpful for many Accordance users (i.e. Filipino Americans, Filipinos, and missionaries) if “Magandang Balita Biblia" (or Tagalog Popular Version) is available in Accordance 10x. This is a parallel translation of the Good News Bible using the "functional" or "dynamic" equivalence technique. Philippine Bible Society publishes the first edition in 1973 and a new edition in 2005. This is a modern translation compared to an earlier Tagalog translation, "Ang Biblia" (translated from American Standard Version 1905). “'Ang Biblia' is the Bible for the traditional Tagalog Bible reader. 'Ang Biblia' is written in the old Tagalog” (http://yirmeyah.wordpress.com/2011/10/24/bibleworks-tagalog-ang-biblia-1905/)

Really, it is just great if I have this translation on my iPhone/iPad as I go around from village to village preaching and teaching the word in an easy to understand Tagalog language.

I just finished importing the Bagong Ang Biblia (2001) as a user Bible. I don't know the copyright status. It's available for free through e-sword but I think that's of dubious legal status. I own multiple copies so I went ahead and exported it out of sword. I'm also working on doing the same with the Magandang Balita (I own multiple copies as well). I think answering the legal question would require running down the Philippines Bible Society to get permission. Maybe I'll work on that when I have some time to blow.

Arnold, I also would love to see Filipino bibles in Accordance.  I would be willing to do the importing also but am not sure of the steps.  I am interested in the Maayong Balita (Visayan) and the Tagalog bibles that you mention.  Could you help me get hold of these bibles for accordance? Thanks.

We just released the Ang Biblia yesterday.

A newer version or the one from the title would not be wrong to release too.

Do your Ang Biblia really has no verse 0 in the Psalms? This module looks like the e-texts from "The Sword Project" in which all has no verse 0. Even the KJV, miss the intros of the Psalms. They cut it by all modules. A negative behavior of this free project.

Yes. The MBB would be a useful version for Filipinos and Tagalog speakers everywhere. May we suggest that this version be added soon. What we have available on Accordance is just the Ang Biblia version which is so dated in its language.

Another good translation of a Tagalog Bible would be the Ang Salita ng Dios (ASND). Looking forward to have those available on the app.
