huge iCloud backup sizes

I noticed today that the Accordance app backup on iCloud takes up an enormous amount of space (638mb on ipad2, 205mb on iPhone4, 302 mb on iPhone5, all running the last versions of iOS and iAccord). That's 20% of our iCloud storage cap, which we bump into frequently since we use our phones as our main cameras. Is there a good reason why iAccord is using so much space? I cleared download caches but that didn't change anything. My user data synced through dropbox is less than 31mb, and the app and modules can be reinstalled, so only settings would need to be backed up. Looks like a bug to me.
