Simplified OT Chronology Chart

I need a very simple Old Testament Chronology Chart to place in a Keynote slide for a class. Obviously, I have the Accordance timeline, but it's more than I need. I just need dates, a few major figures and/or events and perhaps books of the OT.

The Holman charts book would work, but the charts are in sections. I tried "stitching" them together, but they don't line up correctly (I'll blame that on Holman, not Accordance).

If you can think of a chart from one of the Accordance modules off the top of your head, I'd appreciate it.

What of the attached from the ESV Study Bible? No books of the OT though, and it's in table form.

I looked at that one, but I want something that I could easily fit on one slide if possible--kind of an OT chronology at a glance. I know that's asking a lot for the OT, but I was hoping to find something very basic.

There are ways to strip away the stuff you don't want from the Accordance timeline (see attached picture) so that you are left with a simplified timeline. If you edit the "layers" and "lists" from the dropdown menu on the top left, you can start with nothing and add the things you want.

The problem is that, eventhough you can copy it to another application, it doesn't keep the dates intact. So, I usually end up using 'grab' and taking a screenshot of the dates I want.

It would be good (hint, hint) if this were a feature added to future versions of Accordance.

This is how I've made more simple timelines then: 1) start from nothing and add what you need. 2) take a screenshot to preserve the dates at the top of the picture.

hope it helps.post-126-128095469704_thumb.jpg

....wait a minute. When you say "chart", I just realized you might literally mean 'chart', as in Tables, with rows and columns and stuff.

Do you mean charts (as in tables), or do you mean charts (as in: charts and graphs)?
