SteveL
It seems like it would be helpful to have separate settings for the default Greek and Hebrew text display settings. Presently, there is one default that controls all texts; i.e., all texts have the same font size, color, paragraph/single line, etc. I'd prefer, as an illustration only, English texts at 14 pt, Greek at 16, and Hebrew at 30. Thanks for listening.
Helen Brown
Yes the Preferences apply to all texts, though the fonts are scaled up for Greek and Hebrew. You then need to go set each text's default settings and remember to save as default. All new panes for that text will open with those settings. I agree that this can be a lot of work if you have many original language texts, and especially if you subsequently make any change in the Preferences: Text display and lose all those individual default settings. We will consider your suggestion for a future rev.
SteveL
You then need to go set each text's default settings and remember to save as default. Question: If I open (as an example) GNT-T, hit Command T, tweak the text settings, and then click Use as Default, what happens? Is this the Default for all texts, or just for the GNT-T? Thanks gain for listening, Helen. I appreciate your reply!
Helen Brown
This is now the default for all new panes of the GNT-T but has no effect on other texts.
SteveL
Yep, you're right Helen. Gets the job done; just what I wanted. Thanks,
