Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament

There might not be enough interest to make this commercially viable, but I would really like to see this resource available in Accordance. Dr. Runge is a pioneer in Discourse analysis of the Greek New Testament and I think pastors and scholars would really benefit from his work.

I asked Dr. Runge about bringing his database to Accordance and he said it would be possible if Oak Tree licensed it (Dr. Runge is the scholar in residence at Logos).

I believe this resource was developed by Logos, so it will not be easy for us to get a license.

Helen,

I'm taking a class with Dr. Runge this week. He developed the database for Logos and he said it would be possible to bring it to Accordance.

I should also add that there are 26 of us at SBTS taking this week long class with Dr. Runge. Most of us are running Accordance on a Mac and all of the Accordance users here would rather be following along with him with the database in Accordance than in Logos. :)

I would also love to see this resource available. I think it would greatly benefit Accordance users in their study of the Greek New Testament. I'd rather not have to purchase it in print or through Logos if I could have access to it through Accordance.

I love this resource and dislike using Logos. Runge's discourse resources on Accordance would be fantastic. PLEASE check it out! You never know if you don't ask!

Lexham is a subsidiary of Logos/FaithLife. I don't see this ever happening. If, for some reason, Runge were to rework his content and publish it with a "neutral" publisher, then it might happen.

That's not an official response--acquisitions are not my area. Just my opinion.

In this thread http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=13614I asked the question as to whether Oaktree had interested in pursuing independent efforts in discourse tagging ?

It appears interest in such material may be showing signs of growth.

Thx

D
