Upgrading from GNT28-T to NA28-T

When I run the module update it tells me that they are paid updates available for:

 

GNT28-T to NA28-T

GN28-T to UBS4-T

 

Is there any benefits from doing these upgrades? Should I do them?

 

I m just learning a little bit of Greek but I really do not do any study in Greek.

Hi David,

the NA28-T and the GNT28-T are the same greek text, but the NA28-T adds the nestle-aland critical apparatus, i.e., variant texts, and sources and cross-references.

the UBS4-T is the same *text* as the GNT-T and the NA27-T, but with the briefer UBS apparatus. i.e. variant texts and sources and cross-references.

 

If you are early on in greek, I wouldn't bother yet. As you get more practiced it will probably matter to you about what the different sources say.
