Jordan Gowing
I know that there have been multiple requests for arbitrary text selection and pagination in the iOS version, and I look forward to those updates (hopefully soon). As I was using the new version of iBooks this morning, I noticed that there is now a "Scrolling View" option, allowing you to choose between pagination and scrolling. While I prefer pagination, one of the features about the new Scrolling View that I love is the inclusion of actual page numbers in the margins (see attached screenshot). I'm sure it would take a lot of work, but I would love to see something like this in Accordance, both on the Mac and iOS application. It may eat up a small amount of margin space, but I think that it would be insignificant compared to the importance of citing actual page numbers for Accordance users. (I realize that the page numbers are often included in the modules themselves, but it is much easier to find specific page numbers in this approach than the current way of doing things). Just my two cents.
Ken Simpson
Hi Jordan, not sure how hard what you suggest is or not, but did you know you can search by page numbers in many of our tools? Here’s an example using WBC-OT. Edited September 24, 2014 by Ken Simpson
