Lorinda H. M. Hoover
I was setting up a workspace for a new Bible Study, when I ran into considerable trouble with artifacts on the screen: drop-downs from one of the zones on the right "bleed" over into a zone to the left. (They appear stationary when I move the vertical bar between the zones back and forth) I also have duplicate scroll bars on the right, and a set of "Art" up/down arrows whose origin I can't determine. I've attached a screen shot. I'm running Accordance 9.4.2 on Snow Leopard (10.6.8) on a MacBook Pro. No external monitors or anything unusual. I have a Lion machine at home; I'll check the workspace on it later to see if I can duplicate the effect. Lorinda
Joel Brown
Do you know what steps you did to produce this zone setup?
Lorinda H. M. Hoover
Do you know what steps you did to produce this zone setup? I can't give it exactly, but this is roughly what I did: -I started with a new workspace, with only the NRSVS tab -I think the next thing I did was open Names and then Naves (not amplifying from anything, just opening them -I clicked on one of the Scripture links in Naves; this opened (in Text (NET))originally in a third zone -I moved the Text tab in question into the left-hand zone -At some point, I opened a Cross References pane in either the Text or search tab -I created a new User Tool (David Bible Study)Originally it was in a zone on the right; I don't remember which one; eventually I moved it to the location you see in the screenshot -I selected a verse in either the Text or Search tab, and amplified to Old Testament parallels I may not have things in the right order, and I may have missed some items. I am not able to check in Lion, as my workspace won't open on my Lion machine because I don't have the user tool "David Bible Study" on this machine. It may be Tuesday before I can fix that problem, since the two computers are not in the same location. Lorinda
Wes Allen
I reported this bug as well (sorry for the dupe Helen - I searched when I should have browsed). It exists in 9.5.1 - actually the first time I encountered it was other day when I magnified my timeline and then de-magnified it to return to my full workspace. Joel Brown
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce either Lorinda's instructions or anything with the Timeline. Perhaps a screencast is needed so I can see exactly what is happening?
