Paul Daunno
I watched this podcast twice today and it mentions the Mounce Expository per this screen shot - I own this module and would like to set it up as shown in the podcast however it does not display as an option for me to choose - Is there something I need to do to get this to work for me? Ken Simpson
Sorry Paul, I am obviously not seeing something I should, but in the Podcast shot, the Greek is set to Mounce Expository and the Hebrew is set to Kohlenberger/Mounce Dictionary. The Mounce Expository only covers the NT. I can clearly see the Kohlenberger/Mounce dictionary in your list (just over half way down). What am I missing? Paul Daunno
Ken, In the podcast Dr J referred to the Mounce Expository, this one - http://www.accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=Mounce+Expository I assumed I could set that as my key number overrides for OT and NT. Ken Simpson
I see Paul, sorry I don’t know anything about this. I have the module, but like you it doesn’t show up in my amplification options. Someone with a higher pay grade than mine will need to comment.
Paul Meiklejohn
Mounce' Expository Dictionary is not keyword tagged like his Hebrew/Greek dictionaries, but both work well together. i.e triple-click a popular key word like peace. At the bottom of the article will be a hyperlink to take you to a deeper explanation in his Expository Dictionary. It works with most prime Old and New Testament words. Fabian
The Mounce Expository has [numbers] but they are not linked. Even if I go on a link it goes to the top and not to this particular number. Greetings Fabian
Timothy Jenney
Hi, Everyone! Sorry for the confusion. What I meant in the podcast is that someone could set Mounce and Mounce/Kohlenberger as their default lexicons, then simply click any links to Mounce's Expository Dictionary articles, as Paul Meiklejohn has described above. This works very well in Accordance iOS as well.
Paul Daunno
Thank you for the help everyone and Dr. J for clarifying what you meant in the podcast. I have mine set up as described here and it works well.
