The meaning of Hebrew Words

One of the things that has struck me about BDB and HALOT is just how differently they translate Hebrew words. (Often there is no correspondence at all between their definitions.) BDB is older but age alone cannot account for the difference in English renderings. I use Accordance often to see how particular translations have rendered specific words. I am wondering if there is there a way to get Accordance to list in a dictionary type form how, for example, the NRSV translates HESED. I know that I can do a search for Hesed in the Hebrew Bible and then compare by means of a parallel NRSV text, but this is a time consuming process for words that occur frequently. What I am looking for is to discover how translations render words differently.

So for example:

HESED NRSV Steadfast love (160 times), Loyalty (10), Goodness (2), etc.

HESED NASB Loving-kindness (160), Loyalty (3), etc.

(The numbers above are just guesses.)

I would appreciate some wisdom from others on this.

This is easy to do on texts that have been "tagged" with numbers such as Strong's (KJVS and NAS95S) or Goodrick-Kohlenberger (NIV-G/K), but almost impossible on other texts. We hope to expand the offerings of such key number texts in the future.
