Outis Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Recently I discovered that I could highlight stuff other than scripture. However, one cannot highlight user tools. I request that highlighting be extended to user tools too! Obviously, I have no idea what is entailed in such a request. But, it would help a lot. I just made the "Historical Introduction to the Triglotta" into a user tool. But I was sad when I realized that I couldn't leave the book entirely because I also couldn't transfer over my highlights. Hoover Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 This has been raised before here, and Helen explained it would be very difficult to implement in User Tools because the text of User Tools is not static, so the tracing where the highlighting goes would be very helpful. In your case, it sounds like more text formatting tools in the Edit window might provide what you need (that is, adding the ability to highlight in various colors when editing, using more standard text highlighting effects rather than Accordance's highlighting palette).
