Joel, I am not sure what you mean. Can you provide a fuller explanation, perhaps with an example?

Hello Dr. J,

For instance, in this verse: Gen. 3:1 וְהַנָּחָשׁ֙ הָיָ֣ה עָר֔וּם מִכֹּל֙ חַיַּ֣ת הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖ה יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־הָ֣אִשָּׁ֔ה אַף֚ כִּֽי־אָמַ֣ר אֱלֹהִ֔ים לֹ֣א תֹֽאכְל֔וּ מִכֹּ֖ל עֵ֥ץ הַגָּֽן׃, is אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖ה יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֑ים an embedded clause because the clause began with אֲשֶׁ֥ר?

I want to find embedded clauses in the verses that has the particles יֵשׁ and אַיִן, but I am not sure how to do that.

With the syntax module, it's very simple. Insert a Clause=dependent and then insert the lexical items ישׁ and אין within the dependent clause. See below.

In the current syntax module, there are 67 hits.

Thank you, Dr. Holmstedt, for helping out.

Joel, I apologize. Somehow I missed your original post (12/19). By the time I saw today's post, Dr. Holmstedt had already responded.
