Open Saved Workspace When Module is Missing

I recently renamed one of my User Tools, and now any time I open a saved workspace that included that module, I get an error message that the module is not available, and the workspace does not open.

It would be wonderful if Accordance could still open the workspace in question, omitting any tabs or panes that contain the missing workspace.

As it is now, I have to rebuild each workspace when this error comes up.

How about copying the user tool in the Finder, restoring the old name, adding it back, and then updating each workspace as you have occasion to open it?

Alternatively, make a blank user tool with the same name and it should open fine. We'd love to handle missing modules when opening a workspace better, but its proven difficult in the past. Its still on our list to improve, though.

Yes, Joel, but right now one cannot create a user tool in 9.5.1. That bug will be fixed in the next release.

Well, that's a bit discouraging. I haven't really been using Accordance much as of late, but wanted to start creating some new user tools on a few sermon series our pastor has been preaching on. So I upgraded to 9.5.1 just yesterday and have been accomplishing some refresher training on Accordance 9 and User tools and I came upon this thread. User tools is a big part of what I use Accordance for. When is this bug expected to be fixed?

Also, while Im on the subject, if you remember Hellen, a while back (just before the release of 9.0) we discussed some bugs with user tools and how one could lose text especially when reformatting large user tools documents. Have these bugs been addressed yet?

Thanks.

Yes, many bugs are fixed including with user tools, in 9.5.1, and the issue of creating new ones is fixed for 9.5.2 whoch we hope to release this week.

Oh, that's great news, thanks Helen.
