Question on taking notes

Hi there

I've been finding the note taking tool extremely helpful, especially for my greek exegesis. At the moment, in order to take a note, I click on the little yellow pencil that appears when I hover over a verse. A note is then allocated to that particular verse. I currently seem to be able to allocate notes to individual verses only.

My question is whether I can allocate a note to more than one verse, making the heading of the note multiple verses, rather than just an individual.

Thank you

Derek

For all we know, this may be one of the new features of Accordance 11.

In the meantime, you can do a workaround. Just change the reference for a single verse to a range. Any notes for single verses would fall under the range note. Be aware however, that if you create a note for say, Luke 1:1-4, and another note for Lk 1:1, both notes will come up in a single window if you edit that note. If you also have a note at Lk 1:2 and choose to edit it, only that note will come up when you hit ⌘U.

I've been doing this for years, basically setting up my notes the way we might see notes in a study Bible or commentary.
