searching with <AND> in tools

Hello,

 

How do I tell Accordance to do an <AND> search for two words when they are found in the same sentence or paragraph (like in the Bible texts)? According to how it searches for now, it only seems to return hits where these two words are found in the entire tool, even if the two terms are not found together in a sentence or paragraph.

In the search field there is the little down arrow next to the magnifying glass. Click on that and you will get a selection. One of the options is Article/Paragraph. Also you can select this on the MAC if you right click on the section just under the search field (I don't know if this is the same on windows). Select paragraph to get what you want. It does not allow find within sentence but you could use the 'WITHIN' command to find the words where they appear closer to each other.
