Brett K.
I know this could conflict with other modules, but technically the TEV module should be the GNT. Or, at the least, when a citation is copied from the TEV module, the version abbreviation should be GNT.The American Bible Society officially changed the name of the Good News Bible/Today's English Version to the Good News Translation several years ago. Now most (if not all) of their Good News Bibles say Good News Translation (GNT). Every time I copy a citation from the TEV module, I have to manually change TEV to GNT.I know GNT can also mean Greek New Testament. But SBL style recommends using the abbreviation of the specific version of the Greek New Testament (UBS, NA, etc.). I have to manually change those when copying citations as well. It's just a little frustrating when every time I copy as citation, I have to manually change the abbreviations. Thanks Edited October 7, 2014 by Brett K. JonathanHuber
That seems like something that could be programmed as part of citation preferences without needing to rename any modules.
