Brett K.
Apple recently added a few new fonts to their free iBook application. These fonts can be extracted from the app so you can use them in other applications. One of the new fonts is Charter. I used it in Accordance (9.5.1) on Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6.8). It works great. However, when I try Charter on Lion (OS X 10.7.1), it will not show up in Accordance's font list at all. However, Charter does work in every other application I've tried. Any ideas? Thanks -- Brett
Joel Brown
Brett, I can't reproduce your bug. On both my Snow Leopard and Lion installs, Charter (in its 4 flavors) shows up in Accordance's font list. Maybe its an issue of your font cache not being properly updated? Or perhaps a conflict if it is in multiple locations?
mikes
also confirmed that I am able to see and use Charter Roman and it's friends just fine.
