Ipad AirPlay with Accordance?

Has anyone used Accordance on Ipad to send your screen to a video projector, using an apple TV and Airplay? Can this be done? I would invest in an Ipad if it were possible to use it during teaching times to project the Ipad Accordance screen wirelessly to ATV and then to projector.

thank you

It can be done. Simply turn on mirroring on your iPad when using an AppleTV.

By the way, the projector will need to have HDMI input and both the AppleTV and the iPad will need to be able to see each other via WiFi.

I say this because where I teach at IWU, there's a firewall in the network that prevents me from connecting to an AppleTV via WiFi. If this were not the case, this would be my preferred means of teaching to truly be mobile and able to walk around the classroom with the iPad in hand.

Of course, I could create an adhoc network that would work, but if for some reason I needed to access the internet, I wouldn't be able to.

Thanks for your help. I was able to get the iPAD to project and the view with HDMI are fantastic. I use an Epson 1776W, which has a wireless card, so that even a church with no internet -- it works.

It is pretty cool to be able to see in a 42 inch screen what you are working on your iPad. :)

This comment is late to the conversation but may be helpful to someone.

I installed a new projector in our Bible class with an Apple TV, hoping to display Accordance through my ipad. This is what I have been doing for months with a VGA adapter. AirPlay makes this so much easier.

But we hit a problem with the aspect ratio. The ipad is 4:3 and the Apple TV is 16:9, which makes the projection window very small. We changed a few setting and made it better but we may still have to move the projector back.

Today I was experimenting with my iPhone 5 and found that projecting Accordance iOS via AirPlay on this device uses almost the entire screen! This is exciting because I can use my iPhone to display the text (which is usually all I do) and my iPad for my teaching notes.
