RobM
I should note that I invoke the resource palette with the shortcut ⌥⌘2 (the ⌥⌘ with my left thumb, and the 2 with my index finger). This gives me more screen real estate. If you want to reclaim a bit more screen real estate, you can toggle the Resource Palette with OptionShift-2 (as I mention in my post invoked by pressing the option and shift with the left thumb and the number 2 with the left index finger). After trying it a few times, it's nice to have it out of the way when you're reading. Just a tip. Over the last week I've tried doing this and found that I like it. I already have several workspaces set up with the tools and texts I desire so that these days the main reason I go to the resource palette is to open one of my saved workspaces via Favorites. Also, based on revtim's set-up, I've set my ID Palette to auto-fade and made it a bit bigger. With these two steps, I now am able to have my workspaces completely fill my screen without any wasted screen space.
